Flying Start is an early stage fundraising programme for high growth businesses, particularly environmental companies seeking up to £250,000 of equity capital.
We provide a subsidized investment readiness service and give access to Eastside’s network of angel investors.
What we offer
As part of the Flying Start programme, you will receive the following services:
- Advice on investment materials
We will review and polish your business plan and financial forecasts so that they are professional documents and ready for angel investors to view.
- A dress rehearsal pitch
We will organise a mock pitch where you get the chance to present to a panel of fellow entrepreneurs and investors, and receive feedback.
- Introductions to angel investors
We will send your investment materials to our existing network of angel investors and affiliates. Our in-house team will also research your sector in detail and produce a list of targeted potential investors with a track record in your industry. We will then make discrete approaches.
- Support through the fundraising process
We will provide you with a network of partners, such as accountants, IP and corporate lawyers committed to the same level of service and value for money, should require their support.
