Our internships are 5 week programmes that enable talented professionals to work on live client projects.

Many talented professionals undertake internships with Eastside to help achieve career and personal development goals. Working for five weeks under the guidance of our Directors and intern manager, you will work on at least one live client project. Our internships help you gain experience that makes the difference.

Our clients have also directly benefited from the new energy and ideas that our interns bring.

Fair deal for all

Internships are mutually beneficial and are intended to be a fair deal for all: all interns will have some previous experience and a capacity for producing quality work that adds to Eastside’s offering. In return Eastside provides exposure to this field, our way of working, and our clients.

We have clear communication and delegation guidelines, quality standards, feedback procedures and customise the experience to each intern. Eastside will reimburse interns for travel and lunch expenses.

Who we are looking for

Our interns are encouraged to be pro-active, initiate projects and to take on work that fits with their skill-set and career development goals.
We are looking for ambitious candidates who can take full responsibility for their tasks and manage their time effectively. Key qualifications, skills and experience for this position are:

  • relevant work experience (two years)
  • record of achievement (whether academic or vocational)
  • interest in enterprise/innovation/social entrepreneurship
  • ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work independently
  • excellent communication and team work skills
  • good university degree
  • proven competence with office software
  • efficient at research, synthesis and writing
