Eastside highlights
It’s great to see Eastside establish itself in the market in the last few years, raising some £13m for clients, and building a strong team of consultants and advisors. In the last 12 months we’ve packed a lot in, winning some 70 client mandates, delivering a European funded programme to social enteprises across the UK, rolling out a new service (the Academy), and establishing an Advisory Board. Oh yes, and this new swanky website!
My work tends to be less hands-on with clients these days, although I continue to be inspired by the entrepreneurs that I do work with: Richard Nicholson at Paremus, Nana Ama Amoo at TAFF [link], Cyndi Rhoades at Anti-Apathy and others.

I worked in the City for Williams de Broe, and then in corporate finance at Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup) focusing on technology IPOs. After leaving the City in 2001, I travelled in South America for a year, and returned to London as a business advisor and part-time journalist before setting-up Eastside in 2004.
